Meet the Team

Jane-Anne has 25 years of clinical experience, from gaining her physiotherapy qualification in Edinburgh, to work in Adelaide and finally settling in Grafton.

Here, she set up her practice, 15 years ago with the aim of taking city levels of skills, service and excellence to regional Australia.

Jane-Anne has a special interest in complex shoulder injuries, cervicogenic headache and dizziness, lumbar spine and hips. 

Her passion for physiotherapy and methodical examination to work out what's wrong, underpins her main goal - how to best fix or manage the problem to be your physical best.




Scott has extensive experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions with special interest in manual therapy biomechanical analysis of running, stability training for lumbar/pelvic dysfunction and running related injuries. He continues to run a successful physiotherapy business in London and remains consultant physio to the London Marathon. Using this experience he has developed the Move running and assessment and coaching programme which addresses mobility, strengthening and running technique.












Balla studied at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. Since obtaining his qualifications, he has worked extensively for the Ministry of Health in the Seychelles. Before arriving in Grafton, Balla was the National team physiotherapist for the Seychelles Football Federation in their quest for World Cup qualification. Soccer, the game, its injuries, their treatment and prevention holds an interest bordering on obsession.

Libby Nash is a Senior physiotherapist and has taken on the role of clinical tutor and mentor on our graduate training program. She will pass her knowledge, the wisdom of her clinical experience and special interest in the sacro iliac joint (SIJ). She also teaches Pilates, hydrotherapy classes and is the physiotherapist for the residents of Whiddon Group Nursing Home.

Her career interests include SIJ/pelvic dysfunctions, Paediatrics, lumbar spine and dance physiotherapy.








Celia completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle. She joins the Graduate Training Program at Grafton Physio + Sport following a year rotating through hospitals in the Illarwara - Shoalhaven region. This included experience in intensive care, acute orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation and aged care.

Celia loves triathlon and running and is looking forward to getting out and exploring the North Coast area.





Mat is an experienced accredited exercise physiologist. He is passionate about empowering individuals to make positive changes to their lifestyle. His patience and understanding in the challenges patients face to make durable lifestyle change is his hallmark. He's a living example of an active lifestyle where any weekend will find him fishing, kayaking, mountain biking or training in the gym and living the healthy lifestyle dream.












Erica has completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy. She has worked in private practice in Brisbane and for the Queensland indoor cricket team.

Erica's professional development includes Pilates, hydrotherapy and care of the cancer patient. Her skill set qualified her selection to the NSW medical team for the Australian Men's Masters Hockey tournament.

In her free time she has fun being an award-winning baker and we're the willing taste test team.









Shelley studied at the University of Sydney and is  participating in the Graduate training programme. Being a local, Grafton Physio + Sport  provided the perfect opportunity for developing her clinical skills back home. Shelley particularly enjoys working with children and people with disabilities and neurological disorders. She works alongside Celia at the GP Super Clinic.

When she's not in the clinic she enjoys hiking, exploring some landmark on this awesome green planet.
